That’s why security is at the very heart of the ART TNT ecosystem:
Only when digital artworks are absolutely protected and uncrackable can all parties involved – artists, photographers, rights holders, museums, galleries, and you as the consumer and collector – truly trust the system. That’s why we developed a three-step security concept: simple to explain, complex in its inner workings.
The original gets encrypted
An artist, photographer, collector, museum, or gallery provides us with a digital artwork – or has an analog piece (painting, sculpture) digitized. At this stage, the file is still unencrypted.
The rights holder decides:
How many editions are allowed?
This information flows directly into our system.
Our Application 1 encrypts the artwork together with the edition number. The result: a unique Master Encrypted Media – the digital “original in the vault.”
Your personal copy is created
When you buy an artwork in the ART TNT webshop, this happens:
- Your ART TNT Mini-PC generates a unique fingerprint ID via Application 2.
- This ID is combined with the encrypted Master.
- From this, your personal copy is created – unique, tamper-proof, unmistakable.
- This copy is automatically sent to your Mini-PC and can only be played there.
Every artwork carries a visible signature in the bottom left corner, showing:
- „ART TNT DIGITAL ART PIECE“
- Artist’s name or origin
- Date of digital creation
- Edition number
This way you know:
your copy is unique – and yours alone.
Play and enjoy
With Application 3, our pre-installed playback software, you choose which artwork to display on your output hardware device (monitor or projector). Everything runs automatically. You only decide what to see – technology and security run quietly in the background.
And if something ever happens…
If a ART TNT Mini-PC gets lost or stolen, no worries:
- We instantly recognize it through your account.
- We block any playback of your artworks.
- Your collection remains safe.
- On a new Mini-PC, we restore everything for you.
The thief? Can’t do anything with the hardware. Your artwork stays your property.
